Beaver Dam Woman Succumbs To Injuries Sustained In Motorcycle Crash

(Herman) Authorities say a Beaver Dam woman has succumbed to injuries sustained in an August 31 motorcycle crash. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Highway 33 at County Road AY in the Town of Herman just after 3pm. The investigation shows that a motorcycle, operated by James Fellner of Beaver Dam, was traveling eastbound on Highway 33 when the rear tire blew. The 58-year-old and his passenger, 46-year-old Dawn Fellner also Beaver Dam, were ejected from the bike. James Fellner sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was flown by Med-Flight to UW Hospital in Madison. Dawn Fellner was also flown from the scene but with life-threatening injuries. In a press release sent Thursday, authorities said Dawn Fellner died on September 13 at UW Hospital. The sheriff’s office says neither occupant was wearing a helmet.
