Beaver Dam Woman Given Jail Time For Threatening Police

(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam woman was sentenced to 100 days in jail with work release privileges Monday for threatening police. In May, Ashley Horning pleaded guilty to a felony charge of Threats to Law Enforcement. On April 14, police were dispatched to Madison Street in Beaver Dam following reports of a fight progress. Upon arrival officers spotted Horning kicking another female in the parking lot, she was then restrained with handcuffs and placed in the back of a squad car. While police were interviewing witnesses Horning was kicking the vehicle’s windows, ceiling and Plexiglas barrier. When Horning was removed from the squad car she continuously kicked at officers as they secured her ankles in zip-ties. The 28-year-old made various threats to police as she was transported to the Dodge County Jail. Horning was also placed on probation for three years.
