Beaver Dam Woman Given Jail Time For Threatening Police

(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam woman was sentenced to 100 days in jail with work release privileges Monday for threatening police. In May, Ashley Horning pleaded guilty to a felony charge of Threats to Law Enforcement. On April 14, police were dispatched to Madison Street in Beaver Dam following reports of a fight progress. Upon arrival officers spotted Horning kicking another female in the parking lot, she was then restrained with handcuffs and placed in the back of a squad car. While police were interviewing witnesses Horning was kicking the vehicleโ€™s windows, ceiling and Plexiglas barrier. When Horning was removed from the squad car she continuously kicked at officers as they secured her ankles in zip-ties. The 28-year-old made various threats to police as she was transported to the Dodge County Jail. Horning was also placed on probation for three years.
