Beaver Dam Trap 4th At Conference Meet

On Saturday, the Beaver Dam Trap Team traveled to the WTA Homegrounds in Rome for the Kettle Moraine Trapshooting Conference Final.  Blue skies and sunshine were a nice change, but the winds still added an extra challenge.  A total of 363 Varsity athletes competed in this tournament.  After all the targets had been counted, the Beaver Dam Varsity squad placed 4th out of the 10 teams in the South Division with a total score of 475, 7 targets behind Hartford.  Combining the regular season and conference tournament, the Beaver Dam Varsity squad finished in 5th place in the South Division.

The Beaver Dam JV squad had a great day and won First place in their tournament.  The JV team had a total score of 456, winning by 2 birds over Hartford.

Individual Varsity awards for the Conference Final:

Cole Schade 2nd Team men-98

Gabby Wright 2nd Team ladies-98

Cole Schade, Hayden Lund, Mathias Seufzer, and Riley Yaroch each had perfect rounds of 25.

All Conference Varsity Awards:

Riley Yaroch was the top shooter in the South Division for the second straight year with a total score of 534/550 targets.

Cole Schade made 1st Team All Conference men with a total score of 525/550 targets.

Hayden Lund made 2nd Team All Conference men with a total score of 510/550 targets.

Ethan Miller made 2nd Team All Conference men with a total score of 506/550 targets.

Gabby Wright made 1st Team All Conference ladies with a total score of 493/550 targets.

Alex Radichel had 2 perfect rounds of 25 in a row.

Preston Lund made 1st Team All Conference with a total score of 487/550 targets.

Hunter Martin made 1st Team All Conference with a total score of 437/550 targets.
