Beaver Dam Students Without Internet Can Get Free Access During Coronavirus Closure

(Beaver Dam) Students in the Beaver Dam School District without internet access could get free internet for the next two months. With school called off until next month because of coronavirus concerns, students will be responsible for staying on top of their studies from home. District officials sent out a release Sunday night detailing plans for digital and distance learning. On Wednesday (March 18), Chromebooks and paper copies of educational materials will be available for pickup at school offices. This Thursday (March 19) will be the first remote learning day in the district. Then, spring break begins. Distance learning will then resume beginning on Monday, March 30 and continuing through Friday, April 3. For families without internet access, Spectrum is offering free internet to all students for 60 days. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.  To enroll, call 1-844-488-8395.
