Madison Street Beaver Dam Closed from Chattam Street to Curie Street
The Beaver Dam Police Department and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office are currently closing Madison St in the City of Beaver Dam due to a tactical situation in that block. We urge residents to shelter in place or leave the area completely.
We are uncertain how long this situation will last. The community will receive follow-up later today, or when the street is re-opened, whichever comes first.
The Beaver Dam Police Department and Dodge County Sheriff’s Office are taking every precaution to ensure the community is safe. We ask for other citizens to also avoid the area to allow us to safely protect the community.
The Beaver Dam Police Department is the lead agency in this incident and the sheriff’s office is assisting.
