Beaver Dam Police Charities Collects $5K For Murder Victim’s Child

(Beaver Dam) A fund established to help the child whose mother was murdered in Beaver Dam earlier this year has raised over $5,300. Authorities announced the totals yesterday (Wednesday) in a Facebook post. The Beaver Dam Police Charities created the account with American Bank to collect funds for the child caught in the middle of the tragic situation that unfolded on March 23, resulting in the death of the child’s mother and the arrest of her father. The money will be transferred to a benefit fund set up in the child’s name in Illinois to be used for care and college expenses. The Police Department thanked the community for (quote) “stepping up for this little girl.”
