BEAVER DAM PIGGLY RECIPE: 8/27/19

Mom’s Baked Beans

4 (16 oz.) cans baked beans

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 c. molasses

2 Tbsp. yellow or brown mustard

5 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled

1 c. BBQ sauce

1 (6 oz.) can French fried onions, crushed

Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350°. In large bowl, mix beans, pineapple, molasses, BBQ sauce, mustard, and 1/3 of onions. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour beans in 9×13” casserole dish and sprinkle with remaining onions and bacon on top. Cook 1 hour or until beans brown and bubble. Serve warm.
