(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Memorial Day Committee is moving ahead with plans to hold a full ceremony this year. Chairperson Lois Levenhagen says the committee recently decided at their first meeting of the year to go ahead with the annual event this May. Last year, the ceremony was scaled back with no members of the public in attendance and the proceedings available only by video stream. There will be another video stream on DailyDodge this year. Levenhagen says the ceremony can be scaled back if the pandemic situation gets worse. She says social distancing will be implemented and everyone would have to wear a mask if that is still the law at that time. Memorial Day is on Monday, May 31.
