Beaver Dam Man Sentenced To Ten Years In Prison For Overdose Death

(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam man was sentenced to ten years in prison Tuesday for supplying the drugs that led to an overdose death. In March, a jury took just under four hours to convict Brain K. Larson II of First Degree Reckless Homicide by Delivery of Drugs and Bail Jumping. Dakoda Kline of Juneau died of a drug overdose in April of 2017. Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies and the medical examiner were called to the Oakwood Cemetery after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle parked overnight with its engine running. The 25-year-old was found dead slumped over the wheel after taking heroin supplied by Larson. The heroin sales were related to offenses that occurred in March and May of 2017. The 29-year-old Larson was also placed in extended supervision for five years, and upon successful completion, will be placed on probation for five years.
