Beaver Dam Man Sentenced To Prison On Second Degree Sexual Assault Charge

(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam man has been sentenced to five years in prison on a Second-Degree Sexual Assault charge. Daniel Cameron entered a guilty plea to the felony count. An additional three felonies including Exposing Genitals to a Child were dismissed but read into the record.

Cameron turned himself in to the police in June and admitted that the day prior he let the two victims, who were seven and six-years of age, play “surgery” on his private parts. He says that both girls did touch him in an inappropriate area. Cameron said his intention was to desexualize the human body but did state that it (quote) “went too far.”

The 32-year-old was also placed on extended supervision for 10 years.
