Beaver Dam Man Sentenced To Prison For Fifth OWI Offense

(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam man was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison Tuesday for his Fifth OWI Offense. Kevin Laufenberg entered a no contest plea to the felony charge.

Laufenberg’s vehicle was pulled over last October by Beaver Dam police with a defective headlamp. Officers quickly noticed an odor of alcohol coming from Laufenberg. The 52-year-old had a blood alcohol concentration of .301.

His prior OWI convictions all occurred in Dodge County between 1993 and 2001. Laufenberg was also placed on extended supervision for five years.
