10/31/17 – A Beaver Dam man was sentenced to four years in prison yesterday for seventh offense Operating While Intoxicated. Randall Quiring was arrested June 24 for driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana after crashing into a parked van on Wayland Street in Beaver Dam. The 52-year-old swerved to avoid hitting a cat before hitting a construction sign and then a van. Quiring admitted to smoking marijuana and drinking two or three 16-ounce beers before the crash. His blood alcohol level was approximately two-and-a-half-tomes the legal limit for driving at point-two-zero ( .20). Quiring was first arrested for OWI in 1989. When released, Queering will be placed on five years of extended supervision and must blow into a tube to start his car for three years.
