2/7/17 – A Beaver Dam man was sentenced Monday to four years behind bars after pleading “no contest” to his ninth Operating While Intoxicated offense. Jeffrey P. Risch had a blood alcohol level of point-two-zero-five (.205) when he was arrested in June. Police began tailing the 49-year-old’s vehicle after receiving a call from security officials at Kraft Foods who noticed the suspect stumble to his vehicle on their video surveillance system. Risch has OWI’s dating back to 1991 with the most recent conviction in 2010. In addition to four years in prison, Risch was also sentenced to five years of extended supervision.
