Beaver Dam Man Placed On Probation For Threatening Police

(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam man guilty of threatening police was placed on probation for two years Tuesday. Miquel Lopez entered a no contest plea to a felony count of Threats to a Law Enforcement Officer in May. A six month jail sentenced was imposed and stayed. Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the Town of Beaver Dam for a domestic incident involving Lopez in October. Authorities later located Lopez in the City of Beaver Dam. As he was taken into custody, the 26-year-old struggled with police and threatened to headbutt several officers. He also kicked an officer in the foot.
