Beaver Dam Man Gets 27 Years For Bank Robberies, Burglary

5/8/17 – A Beaver Dam man was sentenced Friday to 27 years in prison and 37 years of extended supervision for a series of robberies and burglaries last year. Adam Raney held up the State Bank of Reeseville in Watertown and Bank Mutual in Beaver Dam. The 38-year-old also stole over $12-thousand dollars in firearms, electronics and jewelry during a home invasion in the Town of Beaver Dam. Judge Joseph Sciascia noted that he took into consideration the seriousness of the crimes, the need to protect the public, and Raney’s character and rehabilitation needs when handing down the sentence. Raney was also ordered to pay over $28-thousand dollars in restitution.
