Beaver Dam Man Facing Election Fraud Charges

(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam man is charged with illegally voting in the fall 2020 elections. Martin Roedl III is facing a felony charge of Election Fraud.

According to the complaint, authorities in the town of Beaver Dam were notified by Dodge County prosecutors that Roedl had voted in the November 3rd, 2020, election. Records showed that Roedl was still on supervision through November 9th of that year for a felony case. Roedl reportedly admitted to law enforcement that he did vote.

He allegedly said that he either did not know that he was still on supervision at the time or did not know that he could not vote while on supervision.

If convicted, the 48-year-old faces up to three-and-a-half years in prison. An initial appearance is scheduled for March 27th.
