(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam man charged with having inappropriate contact with a minor made his initial court appearance Monday. Johnathan Haase is facing a number of felonies including Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Child Enticement – Sexual Contact, and Exposing Intimate Parts to a Child.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim reported the improper touching to detectives last February. She allegedly said it started when she was just turning 12 and happened between 2021 and 2022. When questioned, Haase reportedly confirmed his actions and said it occurred on three occasions.
Felicia Haase, also of Beaver Dam, is facing charges of Failure to Protect a Child as well as Exposing Intimate Parts to a Child. She allegedly knew what Johnathan was doing. Felicia reportedly told investigators that she did not protect the victim when she needed her.

If convicted, the 40-year-old Johnathan Haase faces up 281 years in prison. If the 35-year-old Felicia Haase is convicted, she faces up to 47 years in prison.
Cash bond was set at $2,500 for Johnathan while during Felicia’s initial appearance Monday, cash bond was set at $500. Both have preliminary hearings scheduled in the coming weeks.
