Beaver Dam Looking To Fill Vacancy On Council

(Beaver Dam) The city of Beaver Dam is looking to fill a vacancy on the common council. The seat had been filled by Kay Appenfeldt who decided not to seek reelection in the spring and no one from the district chose to run.

District 11 is in the northwest corner of Beaver Dam, bounded on the west by the lake and on the south by Denning Avenue. Council members are paid $325 per month and serve approximately eight hours per month.

Duties include attending council meetings, which are held in the evenings of the first and third Monday every month. Those who live within the district and are interested in being a candidate must submit a letter of interest and description of their qualifications to the city clerkโ€™s office by April 25th.ย ย
