Beaver Dam Library Receive Donations Towards Next Chapter Campaign

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Community Library recently received two donations totaling $40,000 for the Library’s Next Chapter renovations.

Ellen Sushak donated $15,000, emphasizing the importance of educational public hubs. Christine Frinak donated $25,000, stating that it feels right to give back to a place and the people that have been so kind and welcoming to her.

Beaver Dam Community Library Administrator Sarah Cournoyer expressed her gratitude towards the community.

“It’s so encouraging to our staff and our library board and our community stakeholders. The donations from the community helped get this building built in 1984 and 40 years later, it’s the folks who care about the resources that we offer everyone, that are help making this renovation a reality.”

Renovation goals for the library include improved building accessibility with a relocated entrance from the parking lot, added learning spaces, future flexibility, community and study rooms, and expanded services and programs.
