Beaver Dam Home Damaged By Fire

3/28/17 – Fire damaged a house in the Town of Beaver Dam early Tuesday morning. Crews were dispatched to N5942 South Center Road just after 3:30am. Beaver Dam Fire Chief Alan Mannel says units arrived to find the fire in the basement area, were able to quickly extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from extending into other areas of the home. The loss is estimated at $30-thousand dollars. The entire home sustained smoke damage. The residence is not currently habitable. The cause is under routine investigation by the Beaver Dam Fire Department. There were no injuries as the homeowners Travis and Ashley Kleindl were woken up by working smoke detectors. One cat perished in the blaze. The scene was cleared around 6am. Beaver Dam Firefighters were assisted at the scene by Burnette, Horicon, Juneau, and Lowell fire departments. Dodge County Sheriff’s officials and Dodge County DCERT were also on scene. Watertown EMS and Hustisford Fire covered emergency services in the city for Beaver Dam Fire.
