(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Common Council is set to meet Monday night. There are a number of resolutions on file.
They include a resolution amending the city’s 2024 fee schedule and several others relating to the sale of bonds.
The council will also discuss an amendment to its proposal for professional services for a transit feasibility study with SRF Consulting Group. The city contracted with SRF to conduct the study at a cost not to exceed $58,854. Following feedback and recommendations, Beaver Dam plans to move forward with implementing a micro-transit service with technology upgrades through a competitive request-for-proposal process. SRF is being tasked to prepare the proposals at a cost of $8,020.
Alders will also discuss an ordinance providing for the direct annexation of a property in the town of Trenton to the city. A petition was filed by property owners for annexation in order to obtain benefits from owning land within city limits such as municipal services including water and sewer.
The meeting at city hall, which is located at 205 South Lincoln Avenue, will begin at 7:30pm.
