(Beaver Dam) City officials in Beaver Dam will be discussing a couple major developments in committee tonight. The Community Development Committee will discuss and take possible action on developers agreements for both the Weyco property and the former Thomas Chevrolet property across the street. Wisconsin Redevelopment LLC recently purchased the old shoe factory building and plans to renovate the structure into loft-style apartments. Silverstone has plans to construct a senior-living facility across the street but have not finalized the purchase yet. The committee will also discuss the future of the Milwaukee House on South Center Street, which is under orders for demolition. Also tonight, the Community Development Committee will get an update on the Beaver Dam Area Development Corporation from its Executive Vice President Trent Campbell. The committee meeting will be held at 5pm in room 113 of City Hall.
