Action by the Beaver Dam Common Council tomorrow (Monday) is expected to pave the way for two, new multi-family housing developments. Oak Point Village is a residential apartment complex targeted on the city’s north side. The multi-million-dollar project would consist of four, six and eight-unit single-story buildings totaling 82-apartments spread out over 12-acres. The property was initially zoned single-family residential but was recently changed to multi-family residential. The common council will be asked tomorrow to approve a development agreement between the city and M&M Contractors. The other multi-family housing complex is being built along Seippel Boulevard and Mary Ann Road. Premier Real Estate of Brookfield, the same company building a new apartment complex on the west side of Horicon, is constructing five, 12-unit buildings with a total of 60 two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments. The common council is expected to approve site plans for the project. Ground is expected to be broken this year on both developments. The Beaver Dam Common Council meets tomorrow (Monday) evening at 8pm in the Municipal Building.
