Beaver Dam Chamber Announces Luncheon Speaker

10/4/17 – The Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce is finalizing their plans for the yearly Economic Development Luncheon. The event is designed to bring local and regional information to community leaders. Mayor Becky Glewen will give her first state-of-the-city address since being elected last spring. County Board Chairman Russ Kottke will also speak. Beaver Dam Chamber President Phil Fritsche announced this year’s keynote speaker when he was our guest yesterday on WBEV’s Community Comment. John Koskinen, who works for the State Revenue Department, will talk about how Wisconsin has its strongest economy in 18 years. Fritsche says Koskinen’s message is important for the business community and the general public to hear. He says the format for the event has changed. The luncheon will be held this year at the new John Deere plant in Horicon and will include a tour of the new facility following presentations. The event will be held on November 22. Fritsche says more information about signing up will be made available soon.
