The Beaver Dam High School boys hockey team will be senior heavy this season as they look for back-to-back conference championships. The Golden Beavers shared the Badger East Conference championship last season with Waunakee as each team collected 11-1 league marks.
The Golden Beavers a large group of seniors who contributed last season including three players who earned All-Badger East Conference honors last season. Forward Evan Burchardt and goalie Henry Vick were 1st Team all-league picks while Boston Damon was an Honorable Mention pick.
After year as a stand-alone program, the Golden Beavers have entered a co-op with Columbus and Waterloo, which brings four new student-athletes to the program.
Beaver Dam opens their season on Tuesday night when they travel to Marquette.
