(Beaver Dam) School officials in Beaver Dam are planning on bringing back traditional student milestone events sidelined by the pandemic. Superintendent Mark DiStefano told the school board Monday night that coming months will see homecoming, prom and graduation. DiStefano says the district will be working in consultation with Dodge County Public Health so that their plans would align with recommended practices. School board action last night also opens up access of the middle and high school campus to outside groups for usage, in compliance with public health guidelines beginning on March 22. The district’s elementary schools will not be open to the public. Effective immediately, outside groups will be able to access the Educational Service Center. On April 5, volunteers can come back into classrooms.
