(Beaver Dam) Employees in the Beaver Dam School District will see an increase starting with their July paycheck. The Beaver Dam Education Association and the board of education have agreed to a one-year contract for the upcoming school year with a 2.44-percent base wage increase, which is in-line with Consumer Price Index. The union represents teachers but the school board approved the same increase for support staff, administrators and administrative assistants. The employee will be responsible for 18-percent of their health insurance premium cost, or 15-percent if they participate in an employee health-risk assessment. The budget impact for all staff, salary and benefits, is just under $710-thousand dollars.
