Steil qualified for the WIAA Girls State Tennis Tournament in 1976 and was all-conference in basketball and softball in 1977. The last individual to be inducted is long-time athletics coach and Social Studies teacher Tom Johnson. Johnson coached several track and Cross County teams to numerous Wisconsin Little Ten titles over his three decades. Hall of Fame committee member Greg Steil says that this is a great way to bond past and present students. Hall of Fame committee member Greg Steil says there are plaques hanging up were students can see their accomplishments and get that connection to what they did in both high school and college before moving on into their adult lives. They will be inducted during Beaver Dam High School’s homecoming on October 6th.
