BDHS Senior Morgan McGauley Heads To State Swim Meet

The WIAA State Girls Swimming & Diving Meet is set for Friday and Saturday at Waukesha South High School.

Beaver Dam senior Morgan McGauley has qualified for the Division One State Meet in the 100 Freestyle on Saturday.  McGauley will race in Heat 1 of the event with a qualifying time of 53:70. That was 11th best in the field.

McGauley is the first Beaver Dam High School girls swimmer to qualify for the state meet since Kerry Rossow went in the 100 breaststroke back in 2005.

This year’s WIAA State Girls Swimming & Diving Meet is at Waukesha South because the University of Wisconsin’s Natatorium is not available because of COVID-19.
