The Beaver Dam boys basketball team may not have played a perfect game but their record stayed perfect at 5-o after a 78-54 win over Waterloo on Tuesday night at the BDHS Fieldhouse. Beaver Dam junior Brady Helbing scored 19 of his game high 24 points in the 2nd half in the win. BD outscored the Pirates 21-7 down the homestretch of the 1st half to open up a 38-23 lead at the break. Nate Abel added 15 and Alex Soto 12 in the win. Eugene Wolff paced the Pirates (1-4) with 12 points. Beaver Dam (5-0) will host Edgewood on Friday night.
