Lieutenant Wesley Jahnke has been promoted to the rank of captain. Firefighter/Medic Matthew Weidler was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Weidler started as paid-on-call with the Beaver Dam department in 2013 and was hired as a career firefighter in 2016. Officials say Weidler will continue to be responsible for the department’s communications programs, he will also be taking on responsibilities with the emergency medical services program.
