12/4/17 – Beaver Dam Community Hospital will host the 28th annual ‘Tree of Lights’ program Monday evening. The program allows local residents to purchase a tree light in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one. Organizers call the trees located in front of the hospital, Hillside Manor and Stone Terrace ‘symbols of loving, remembering and giving during the holiday season.’ The free program starts at 7pm in the hospital’s conference center and features a choir performance and continues with the tree lighting followed by a reception in the cafeteria. Tree lights cost $5 apiece and proceeds fund the hospital’s Hospice and Lifeline programs. Lifeline offers security for those living in their home by providing help with the single push of a button. Hospice supports and assists patients dealing with terminal illnesses and their families.
