BDACT Holding Show/Event Selection Meetings

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Community Theatre is asking the public for input in their upcoming show schedule. The organization will be holding their show/event selection committee meetings with anyone interested in directing a musical, play or other performance event. Before a production is approved by the committee, a play director must have a producer and stage manager. Musical directors must have a vocal director, pit conductor and choreographer in place. The committee is able to choose a production up to 18 months from the meeting date and interested individuals are asked to review the show/event page at www.bdact.org to see what dates are already booked. The selection committee meetings will take place at the theater building currently located at 219 North Spring Street. People are asked to contact managing director David Saniter, at info@bdact.org or call 920-885-6891, one week ahead of the production meetings who will help with the proposal process, order perusal scripts, royalties and help with the budget. All meetings will take place at 6:30pm on September 9, November 11, February 10, April 14 and June 2. Stipends are available for directors and other leadership positions. Directors also have the opportunity to earn up to an additional 6-percent of the show profit.
