(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation will be hosting their fourth annual community social next month. The event will be held at Ooga Brewing Company on September 21st at 2pm.
The Foundation’s Vice President Patrick Lutz says the atmosphere will be fun, relaxed, and focused on the positive happenings in the area.
“We’re just inviting the whole community to come out and just stop by for ten minutes or a half-hour…whatever you have,” says Lutz. “There’s going to be one-dollar from every pour…so, if you have a beer every pour we’ll get a dollar and we have to thank Ooga for that a lot.”
The event will feature live music by Jay Wildner from 2pm to 4:30pm and The Characters from 5pm to 7:30pm. All tips given to Wildner will be donated back to the Foundation.
All money raised at the event benefits the Foundation’s twice-annual grant cycles. Since the first grant cycle in 2020, $207,000 in grants have been awarded to Dodge County nonprofits.
