BD Trap Team Has Another Great Day

Saturday April 23rd the Beaver Dam Trap Team traveled to the Burlington Conservation Club to participate in the Burlington Conservation Club Youth Invitational.  This 100 target event was held over 4 days and drew nearly 500 competitors.  Gusty winds provided an extra challenge, but the team was able to find some success.

With only 2 rookies the squad was able to take 5th place out of 8 teams.  The 2 scores were:

In the Intermediate Entry division the team finished in 4th place out of 14 with a score of 279/500.  The top 5 scores for I/E were:

The Intermediate Advanced group also finished in 4th place out of 14 teams with a total score of 342/500.  The top 5 scores were:

In the JV division, the team finished 7th out of 18 teams with a total score of 352/500.  The top 5 JV scores were:

The Varsity squad finished in 1st place out of 17 other teams.  Their total score was 460/500.  The top 5 scores were:

The team also has some shooters earn individual awards.

Gabe Henriksen placed 3rd in the Mens I/A division

Ashley Blatz placed 2nd in the Ladies Varsity division

Brandon Walsh placed 3rd in the Mens Varsity division

Riley Yaroch placed 1st in the Mens Varsity division

The team’s next invitational will be May 13 at the Hartford Conservation and Gun Club.
