Beaver Dam Students Have Scholarship Options

(Beaver Dam) Students in Beaver Dam benefit from having multiple avenues when it comes to securing grants for education after high school.  Two separate scholarship organizations provide awards each year to students within the Beaver Dam Unified School District, the Beaver Dam High School Scholarship Committee and the Beaver Dam Scholarship Foundation Inc.

Organized in 1949 the Beaver Dam High School Scholarship Committee has a goal to award local two- and four-year college and career technical scholarships and uses a ranking system to award scholarships to as many different individuals as possible.

Created in 1991, Beaver Dam Scholarship Foundation Inc, was founded by eighteen local citizens who wanted to help students with the rising costs of higher education.  Their mission is to provide talented students with funds to attend either a four-year or technical college of choice.  Applicants are graded and scored by out of town judges before being chosen as a scholarship recipient.
