BD Boys Soccer Plays To 2-2 Draw With Fort Atkinson

The Beaver Dam boys soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw with Fort Atkinson on Thursday at a rainy Prairie View Elementary Field.

Fort Atkinson (0-3) struck first at 8:55 when senor James Keelty rolled a loose ball past keeper Noah Banes to give the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead.  Beaver Dam got the equalizer at 42:06 when freshman Junior Guerrero drew a penalty in the box.  On the penalty kick he beat keeper Andrew Davis to his left to make it 1-1 heading into halftime.

Fort Atkinson took a 2-1 lead at 62:46 when senior Landon Zorn scored off a deflected kick off the foot of Banes and knocked it into the back of the net.  Less than a minute later senior Zach Ramirez hammered a shot by Adams to square the matchup up at 2-2.

Beaver Dam (1-2-1) travels to Monroe on Tuesday night.
