The Beaver Dam High School baseball team hosts Sheboygan North tonight in a WIAA Division One Regional Final at the BDHS Diamond tonight. It’s a game you can hear on 1430 ESPN and watch on DailyDodge TV.
Beaver Dam (15-9) advanced to the Regional Final with an 11-2 win over Oshkosh West on Tuesday night. Brandon Morrissey paced the 12-hit attack going 3×4 with a pair of doubles and a triple to go along with 2 RBI and three runs scored. Morrissey tied the single season school record for triples with five in the win.
Sheboygan North (5-17) held off 4th seeded West Bend East 1-0 on Tuesday to advance. Tyler Schoessow struck out 12 and gave up just two hits in five scoreless innings to earn the win. The Golden Raiders tied for 9th in the 10-team Fox River Classic Conference this season with a 2-16 record. They have won two games in a row heading into tonight’s matchup.
The John Deere Pregame Show is set for 4:45pm with the first pitch set for 5pm. It’s presented by Columbus Family Dental, Hometown Glass & Improvement and the Beaver Dam Unified School District.
The winner advances to the Sectional on Tuesday in Oshkosh.
