The Beaver Dam High School baseball team ended its regular season on a high note Wednesday night, blanking Jefferson 4-0 on the road.
Ashtyn Seifert turned in a dominant outing on the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing just five hits in a complete-game shutout performance.
The Golden Beavers also got solid production offensively from Eli Johnson, who finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Seifert and Brady Caine each contributed doubles in the victory.
Beaver Dam finishes the regular season with a 12-11 record and now turns its attention to postseason play.
The Golden Beavers earned the No. 6 seed in the WIAA Regional Tournament and will host No. 11 Lake Geneva Badger in a regional semifinal on Tuesday.
