Barn Destroyed By Fire Along Highway 151 In Fond du Lac County

(Campbellsport) Departments from as far away as Campbellsport and Brownsville were among the two dozen agencies that responded to an overnight barn fire near Fond du Lac. Crews responded to N10469 Highway 151 in the Town of Calumet at 11:45pm Monday. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Sergeant Paul Metzger says the structure sustained severe damage and it, along with its contents of straw and hay, is considered a total loss. The blaze was reported by a passerby. The property is owned by Larry Hedrich of LeClare Farms. The exact cause of the fire is unknown however it is not considered suspicious; it is suspected that wet hay may have contributed.
