The Wisconsin Bandits U16 Gold girls travel fastpitch softball team based out of Horicon went 6-0 this past weekend to capture USSSA Illinois State Championship in Peoria, Illinois. They defeated the BNGSA Angles 14-3 in the title game. The event was held the Louisville Slugger Complex in Peoria, Illinois. The U16 Bandits are now 37-10-1 on the season.
The Bandits U18 squad finished runner-up at a tournament in New Berlin, WI on Saturday. The Bandits swept their first three games before falling to Glory VA Midwest U18 6-3 in the championship game. The U18 Bandits are now 18-8-4 on the season.
