Bandit’s U14 Gold Still In Winners Bracket At USSSA Elite Select World Fastpitch Championships

A seven-run bottom of the 6th inning propelled the Wisconsin Bandits U14 Gold youth fastpitch softball team based in Horicon to a 7-0 win over the Kansas City Rebels in bracket play of the USSSA Elite Select World Fastpitch Championship in Kansas City on Wednesday night.   Danielle Lucey’s RBI single game the Bandits the 1-0 lead in the 6th, then two batters later, Quinn Marnocha’s two-run homer opened the flood gates to the big inning.  Gabby Fakes struck out 14 and gave up just 2 hits for the complete game victory.  The Bandits (49-8-3) will continue their quest for the national championship on Thursday.
