(BEAVER DAM) Beaver Dam voters will have a write-in option when they cast ballots for Dodge County Board District 32.
Robert W. Ballweg is running for the seat, which represents the city and is opening up after Supervisor Lisa Derr decided not to seek reelection.
Ballweg has held the position before, serving on the County Board from 2002 to 2015.
During his earlier time on the County Board, Ballweg served on committees tied to loans, county staffing and labor negotiations, and Clearview nursing home.
He also spent more than a decade in Beaver Dam city government. Ballweg served as an alderperson from 2005 to 2019, including a term as council president. While on the council, he led the operations committee and represented the city on the Beaver Dam Area Development Corporation.
Voters will need to write in Ballwegโs name on the ballot to cast a vote for him in the District 32 race.
