Badger State Tractor Pullers Fueled-Up For Dodge County Fair

(Beaver Dam) A popular attraction at the Dodge County Fair is all fueled-up for another show at this year’s event. Fair organizers say the Badger State Tractor Pullers will kick-off the free evening entertainment during the five-day festival on Wednesday, August 16th, from 7pm to 10pm.

They say that the much-anticipated annual event does not have too many unnecessary upgrades, for what has been a solid, engaging event for many fair seasons. Tires will be rotating again at high-speed as approximately sixty competitors compete in six different classes across the two 300 feet tracks. Competitors will take their turns pulling weight transfer sleds the farthest across the parallel tracks.

Organizers say non-stop action and updates from your favorite competitors can be watched from the grandstands, while the action will be magnified on the over-sized video screens. They note that with admission as low as $7, attendees only need to pay their gate admission to the Dodge County Fair.

Entrance into the grandstands is free and seats are available on a first come basis. This event draws close to 4,000 viewers each season. Fans are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. The Dodge County Fair runs from August 16th through the 20th.
