Authorities are still pursuing several leads in Saturday’s armed robbery of the Associated Bank in Beaver Dam. It happened around 12:40pm. Police say the suspect entered the Park Avenue business, flashed a small black handgun to the bank teller and demanded money. He fled to the south with an undetermined amount of cash in a plastic grocery bag. Crews set up a perimeter and canvassed the area, trying to find someone who may have seen something. They are continuing to interview possible witnesses and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. He’s described as 5’7” 170-pounds, last seen wearing a dark jacket or hoodie with two horseshoes on the front, a large one on the back and several smaller ones. Police released pictures of the man from the bank’s security cameras. You can view those pictures by visiting wbevradio.com.
