(Oak Grove) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has identified those involved in a fatal vehicle crash in to the town of Oak Grove early Tuesday morning. Read the full press release from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office:
The driver of Chevy Malibu was identified as Vincent R. Garza of Beaver Dam and died at the scene.ย The driver of the Mack semi was identified as Daniel La Brec of New Holstein and the driver of the other semi was identified as Bradley Vandrisse of Pulaski.ย
The crash remains under investigation.
FATAL CRASH CTH A/I at CTH W
On July 2, 2024 at 2:42 am, Dodge County Sheriffโs Deputies responded to the intersection of County Highway A/I and County Highway W, town of Oak Grove, for a car verses semi crash. This intersection is approximately 2.5 miles west of the city of Juneau.
Through investigation, a silver 2012 Chevy Malibu driven by a 25 year-old male from Beaver Dam, was northbound on County Highway A/I and at the intersection with CTH W, was left of center and in the southbound lane. A 2022 Mack semi hauling a flatbed trailer with steel was southbound on County Highway A/I and collided with the Malibu. The driver of the Malibu was fatally injured and the driver of the semi suffered minor injuries. The driver of the semi is a 63 year-old male from New Holstein, WI and he was transported to the Marshfield Medical center in Beaver Dam. A second semi, northbound on CTH A/I, was also struck by the Malibu and the driver, a 59 year-old from Pulaski, WI was not injured.
Assisting at the scene were the Juneau Fire Department, Juneau EMS, Horicon Fire Department, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Burnett Fire Department, and the Dodge County Medical Examinerโs Office.
This crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriffโs Office Crash Investigation Team. Names are being withheld at this time pending family notification.
