AUGUST 24TH – WAFFLE

Pecan Stuffed Waffles

8 frozen waffles

2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

½ c. packed brown sugar

1 ½ tsp. ground cinnamon

1 tsp. vanilla extract

½ c. chopped pecans

1 c. maple syrup

Powdered sugar

4 fresh strawberries, cut in half

Toast waffles according to package directions. In small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon & vanilla until smooth. Stir in pecans. Spread over four waffles; top with remaining waffles. Drizzle with syrup. Sprinkle with powdered sugar; garnish with strawberry. Serves 4.
