Arnold J. Gallenbeck

Arnold “Curly” J. Gallenbeck, age 91 of Beaver Dam, went home to the loving arms of the Lord on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Hillside Manor.

Arnold was born on November 25, 1926 and married Winette on February 2, 1947. They had 5 children. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He loved camping and spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his great-great-granddaughter Ava.

Arnold is survived by 2 daughters, Ginger (Terry) McKone and Diane (Ken) Mortensen; brother, Harold (Betty) Gallenbeck; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; one great-great-grandson due in August; and further survived by nieces, nephews, and a very special caring friend Howard Gundlach.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Winette; sons, Arnold Jr., Ronald, and Dennis; one grandson; sisters, brothers, and other relatives.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Trinity Church – United Methodist, 308 Oneida St, Beaver Dam, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Cherie Forret officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery.
