Arnold Elected Columbus Mayor, Incumbent Alderman Unseated

(Columbus) There is a new mayor in the city of Columbus. Mary Arnold defeated JD Milburn 658-to-545 in Tuesday’s spring general election. Incumbent Mayor Michael Thom did not seek reelection. There were three contested aldermanic races in Columbus. In District One, Sarah Motiff topped Nathan Anfinson. In District Two, incumbent Trina Reed held on to defeat Donna Tuttle. District Three incumbent Peter Adams lost to Shelly Albright.
