Despite Games Being Cancelled State Softball Coaches Pick Senior All-Stars

A handful of area senior softball players have been named All-Stars by the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association.  238 players from across the state were chosen to play in this summer’s all-star games before they were cancelled because of COVID-19.

Beaver Dam’s Grace Maderios and Watertown’s Paige Bacchi were selected to play in the Division One games.

Marshall and Mayville both had players selected for the Division 2/3 games.  Abby Van Beek, Delany Vetter, Kyra Thorson, and Emily Karvala where chosen from Mayville while Marhsall’s Aubrie Kappes and Hailey Erdmann have also been selected.

Horicon’s Karissa Laabs, Jadin Justman, Payton Marvin and Allison Tillema, along with Randolph’s Brianna Prieve were all picked for the D4/5 games.

The event was scheduled for mid June in the Wisconsin Dells before it was cancelled.
